Guest guest
To be pragmantic (heavens they won't know what to do with that!) perhaps " It is ESSENTIALLY the same organization reconstituted under a new banner. However, if you wish to hit them over the head try getting them to explain why it is not the same organization. They can't refute what it is because they won't do the thinking again. Great minds encounter opposition. You're doing an excellent service for many. Cheers, Happy 2001 the new Millennium! Got to be better than the last 1000 years. Good site for the persons able to make abstractions. I could also need some arguments with a more populistic punch. People really don't like to think for themselves ;-). Bjørn P.S. My main argument was like this. At the beginning the Oxford Group Movement claimed to handle all kinds of 'immoral' thinking and behavior with their program. Then AA parted from the movement, but by now the XA-movement has taken all the positions the Oxford Group Movement had. Therefore XA can be seen as the revival of the Oxford Group Movement. OK? First of all a Happy New Year to everyone. But this said I need your concerted help. I'm involved in a debate on a Scandinavian list, and one of my opponents says that my comparison with the former Oxford Group Movement and the present XA is a misjudgment. My Inbox crashed with 8000 mails 14 days ago, so I can't even find the 12 step free list's arguments. Can somebody help me out? Sincerely. Your friend until tomorrow. (I'm a one day at a time guy.) Bjørn P.S. I haven't even read Ken's book. ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/webmail ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/webmail
