Guest guest
Tonight, I am going to show a video with a couple episodes of Mr Bean. I am really looking forward to seeing whether he 'gets it' or not. I'll let you know! Jacquie
Guest guest
> stupid question of the day, but > who is " mr bean " ???? > nancy I have no idea how to describe the character to someone who's not seen him! LOL. " Mr Bean " is a character acted by a semi-famous British comedian and actor named Rowan Atkinson. If you've ever seen the BBC series 'Blackadder' - that is Rowan Atkinson. He also played a priest in 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', one with a speech impediment. He was in a movie that came out a couple years ago called...oh, my...I can't remember the name, but it was about a bunch of guests at a casino in Vegas who run a race to get to a safe-deposit box with millions of dollars in it...'Rat Race', maybe? ANYWAY, the Mr Bean shorts are entirely non-verbal. Mr Bean never speaks; all the humour is delivered through body language, facial expression, and gesturing. They can be VERY funny.
