Guest guest
Jody, You certainly are right, but all the insurance groups I called, will put in exclusions. And thanks to my thyroid not being checked, I already have an existing exclusion, saying nothing affected by my ovaries is covered. And they don't even know about the thyroid yet ! I really don't see what would be covered? Do we have anything not affected by out ovaries and thyroids? LOL Even if I can find one to work with, thyroid will not be covered for at least one year. If I need to pay the smallest minimum of $350 to $400 a month for just me, and pay all my thyroid costs at the same time, I fear, things would not go so well. So I shall continue to write my checks at the doctor, with my head held high, knowing they are good, and my credit is impeccable. Thank goodness for the internet, and this group. I feel my choices of what to pay for are informed, and I am comfortable deciding what not to spring for. So you see my dilemma, and why I ask so many questions, and bug you all so much. hehehe ! And should others come along w/o insurance, I shall be a good resource I did quite a few liver tests ( boy are they spendy!) in the beginning, when it was needed. I have been told, that once you get through the first few months, without a problem, they are no longer needed. OK, if I get a sore throat, fever, and turn yellow, I will be there with bells on ! :-) So how were your doctor app. today? -Pam-
