Guest guest
Okay, I gotta share this with you all. You may have discovered it on your own, but just in case you haven't .......!! Low-point hot chocolate. It's decadent! It's finally cool enough here in CA, at least some of the time, to enjoy it. I tried two brands and have discovered that a combination satisfies me the most. I like the Diet Swiss Miss in packets -- 1 packet = 2 T = cal 25, fat 0, fiber 1 (for .3 pts) To one packet of this in a large (12-oz) cup I add 1 T of Nestle's spoonable Fat Free Hot Cocoa Mix, (2T = 25 cal, 0 fat, 0 fiber for .5 pts) so 1T = .25 pts. We're only up to .55 pts now. I add in 1 tsp of Cool Whip Free to make it creamier. Since 2 T of this = .3 pts (15,0,0) I don't actually count the 1 tsp of it. I round this whole concoction up to .6 pts ... it's filling and satisfying (even meets that chocolate craving) and it's so dern low in points! However... here's my caveat: I wouldn't advise drinking 24 ounces of it before bedtime, like I did last night. Not only was I visiting the ladies room all night long, but the chocolate kept me from sleeping well. I guess I got a little carried away with it ---- ROFL!!!!! Bette P.S. I found the Diet Swiss Miss to be a little " thin " in taste, which is why I added in the richer Nestle's.
