Guest guest
HEllo stacy, Free Bed is the place we go, and we love it! We started with PT through Metro Health and were very dissappointed. The PT was once a month for 45 min! I knew it didnt feel right. So i aksed our ped for a referal to MFB and we have been doing weekly PT/OT there for almost 2 months now. OUr Health insurace covered our star 80% with no questions asked because it was through MFB. That was such an answer to prayer. It took Elijah no time at all to adjust when he was awake. He still sweats buckets but we keep him in just a onsie and no socks. We take the star off every couple of hours and wipe down his head and the helmet and he doesnt even cry when we put it on. I am glad he is getting used to the band now before it gets too humid. THe hard part is sleeping. It took him almost 2 weeks to be able to sleep well in his helmet. He is fine at night, but naps are still challeging unless he is in his swing. What part of Michigan do you hail from? There are quite a few of us in this group that are from MI. To be exact, my husband and i live in Grand Rapids, in Alger Heights. keep us posted on how things are going. mommy to Elijah. tort/ plagio/ star banded 3/23/05 West Michigan > > > > > > Hello.
