Guest guest
Lesia, Please hang in there. Did you talk to your doctor again? Could you send off your reports to another doctor for a second opinion? Ugh. My heart really goes out to you! I am really sorry to hear you are dealing with all of this. The only reason I say second opinion, is because my case sounds like it was similar to yours. I did not ask the details. I just know I had little lining in some areas, and what looked like nothing in others. I hope you have some enjoyment this weekend. lesiakyriakou@... wrote: Hi,, thanks for your email. How are things with you?Lesia

Guest guest
Roxie, Thanks for the vote of confidence! I am getting a bit better at being push. In my doctors appts, it looks like some of the appts are handled by a nurse midwife/nurse practitioner, I requested the obstetrician. I know it sounds like a small step, but it felt huge and embarassing. The receptionist said "dear, she is qualified to deliver babies", I said "wow, how impressive, but I would still like to see the doctor!". Ha. I hope your period continues! roxanndianna1 wrote: K,I agree with everyone that you are not being paranoid and that you should pursue what you feel is right for you. You are not crazy to want the best chance possible for your baby! I wish that I would have gone with my gut feeling last year when I knew that I was leaking fluid after my cerclage was put in. The nurse told me it was urine and although I wasn't convinced, I didn't push the issue and ended up in labor and having a terrible doctor deliver my baby. He is the 1 who left the placenta behind and I know that my OB would never have done this. Also when I had heavy bleeding 12 days later I listened to that same nurse and didn't push the issue and I ended up having an emergency D & C my the same butcher. I will forever regret that I didn't stand up for myself because I know that my OB wouldn't have made these mistakes and I wouldn't have AS. I am much different now and don't hesitate to get another opinion and I don't care who thinks I am crazy or paranoid. You are already a wonderful mother to this baby and I can't wait for the day when you hold him/her in your arms.Roxie

Guest guest
Roxie: Thanks. Based on what I'm learning (and I'm new -- only started to learn about AS in the last couple of days), I am leary of a D & C. I've had 2 before, following miscarriages. I'm getting confused because I just got a call from the Dr's office regarding my heavy, crampy, gross period and she said that it is likely due to the clomid and not scar tissue coming out post-HSG. UGH. I guess I'm wondering how I can know for sure that I have AS without this doctor performing the hysteroscopy? The HSG showed an adhesion that is likely to be scar tissue, according to the Dr. He never mentioned Asherman's to me, I've found that from research on the web. Should I be willing to undergo the hysteroscopy with this Dr. if he promises not to do a D & C while I'm out? Thanks again! K

Guest guest
K, Just read your email about you maybe letting your doctor perform a diagnostic hysteroscopy on you but making him promise not to do a D & C on you while you are out. I hope you can trust him that he will not. Definitely don't let him touch you. What will you decide to do if he finds out you have scarring? Why don't you just go straight to an A list doctor and save some money too? Poly
Guest guest
Roxie, Good luck on your surgery! I am glad you decided to continue with treatment. You are in wonderful hands! Thank you for all of your comments and support. Believe me, there will be NO baby stuff in my house until baby and mommy are home! I really envy people that are decorating nurseries in their fourth month! I can not think of it! I am really taking it one week at a time. Tomorrow I have some u/s that is suppose to be rather legnthy. roxanndianna1 wrote: K,I remember how hard it was for me to believe that there was going to be a baby in the house when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had a hard time shopping and getting things ready because I just couldn't believe it was going to happen. I had lost 2 before her so I understand how you feel. When she finally arrived, it was the greatest moment in my life. I envy the people who find out they are pregnant and start making plans for the new baby right away. I hope all is going well with you and I always watch for updates from you. You were the first person who contacted me when I joined and you also gave me a lot of hope at a time when I was at my lowest.Roxie

Guest guest
I love vicadin. It is really a wonder drug. I must say that I did not have bad gas pains from the lap, but many people did. If you had your gallbladder out, than you are familiar with the lap and the surgery really. I think recovery may just be a little longer for AS. (My old boss also had her gallbladder removed) The u/s went well. Every week really feels like a milestone. Looking at everything would be too overwhelming. roxanndianna1 wrote: K,Thanks for your reply. When I had my gallbladder out, I went to the state fair 3 days later. I think the Vicoden had a lot to do with that! I have a hard time just staying off of my feet but I am looking forward to being off of work and spending the time with my daughter. How was your u/s today? Hope all went well.Roxie
