I remember when Robbie was born and Putter was almost three, Putter always clung to me and stayed with me and I was so afraid of him slipping away even further that I had to try extra hard to welcome him to me whenever he walked into the room. It was very very hard because when you have a new baby sometimes you do actually want to have your older one somewhere else, but I had a strong sense that I could really lose him if I pushed him away even slightly.
