Can someone who has seen the Blue Collar comedy just say, " Here's your sign! " (Probably gotta be from the South to appreciate that one!) Anyway, I had my yogurt going all night and this morning I unwittingly unplugged to blend my kiddies a smoothie. It didn't help that it was a War Zone in the kitchen. I was probably to busy screaming to notice! Well, I left for the gym and forgot to plug my yogurt back in. Why I plugged the blender there in the first place is beyond me! To make a long story even longer, I got home and low and behold, no little red light on the Yogourmet. Frantic!! It had been off for approx. 4 hours! Well, I called Lucy at Lucy's Kitchen, and she said it would be fine, just ferment it for several hours longer. I am relieved but still concerned. I know she is very knowledgable, but I like to get all opinions. I did plug it back in, but if this is not the right advice, PLEASE ADVISE. If it is okay to eat it still, PLEASE ADVISE.
