she was born with hearing loss, and just lost more later. We found out

later that a u shape and progression can be an indicator for a genetic

hearing loss (connexin 26).

We used cued speech to teach her phonics and that has helped tremendously in

her ability to read. She is 9 now and is reading at or above grade level.

VERY!!!! frustrated with it all?They are calling it a cookie bite
