Guest guest
That would be so fun! I'm sure I'll want to get out and do something fun after I get this baby out. Right now I'm so tired and sick with an ongoing flu that I can't do much except work. So, how's it going with that new little boy of yours, Marcy? How is your daughter adjusting to having a little brother? I ask because I have a similar, but reversed situation with a 5 1/2 year old son and expecting a baby girl. Max was really looking forward to a little brother, but is coming to terms with having a little sister. Now he's pretty excited and getting a little anxious. I think he's a little tired of his high maintenance and tired mother. Even though it was just a year and a half ago, I don't he really remembers the pre-wls me (tired, sweaty, too heavy to participate in his games). Guest guest
Then we will have to all keep in touch after your baby is born and the other California babies too. I'm sorry you have been so sick with the flu, we have passed around this dang cold for about a month in my family. Everything is going fine with . He is not much of a sleeper in the least, so I have been sleep deprived, but my body is adjusting to less sleep. It catches up with me a few days a week where I am just exhausted, then there are other days where I have all kinds of energy and can actually get things done around here. My daughter has done WONDERFULLY since the baby was born. All of my concerns have all but vanished because she loves him SO much, and is such a great big sister. She did such a great job in the delivery room, and I am so glad we made the decision to have her there. I think she will remember it forever, and the fact that the nurse included her in so much (she even got to cut a piece of the babies cord after my husband did), really made a difference. I am sure Max will do fine with your baby girl, I cant wait to hear how he is after she is born. My daughter asked for a baby brother lol and was very happy to hear we were having a boy, now she has " ordered " a baby sister, and we have to keep telling her that IF and WHEN we decide to have another, we get what we get lol.....she says she is fine either way, but to be honest, I would just LOVE another baby girl. I however, am THRILLED with our baby boy. He is an absolute joy, and its going to be fun having a son. Anyway, take care, and I hope you are feeling better soon! Guest guest
Cool! I would wait until after March if I were you guys though, because your babies will be so young, and its still so cold (and windy in the bay area). Maybe soon after though, like early spring when its so nice out. I would just love getting together with the babies, and kids. You guys know the bay area better then I do, so if there are any better places to go then others I am open for suggestions! Whenever we go to San Fran, we frequent Pier 39 and Fishermans Wharf, and just love it there. Anyway, I am glad you guys like the idea. And if there are any other Californian's out there, chime on in!!!
