Guest guest
Lizzie, Thanks for the update. Be sure to watch those pink spots closely. Did they go away within an hour? If not she might need an adjustment. Mulitple adjusts in the first few days are ok, they sometimes need to be tweeked just a bit for the perfect fit. Good luck and keep us posted on how she's doing. Have you decorated it yet? Guest guest
Hi Lizzie, I'm glad Riley is doing well in her band. Since you did have pink spots, I'd still keep a good eye on them today. As long as they keep fading they're fine. The " angry face " thing is very common and may happen the whole time she's banded. Hannah never cared when she had it, but it always bugged me so I'd open her velro and open the band an inch or so to let her forehead fix itself. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma http://hannahsnoggin.typepad.com --- In Plagiocephaly , " jebrownjr " <jebrownjr@y...> wrote: > > Hello everyone, > > My daughter Riley (6 months old) got her DOC band yesterday and she > looks great! Guest guest
Hi Lizzie, It's great to hear how well Riley is adjusting to her band. :-) Keep a close eye on those pink spots. It's very common in the beginning of treatment to need an adjustment or 3 before the " just right " fit is found. Keep us posted. > > Hello everyone, > > My daughter Riley (6 months old) got her DOC band yesterday and she > looks great! Guest guest
Lizzie, That's great that she is adjusting so well. You sound right on top of things, right down to the angry eyes knowledge, so she is in great hands. The eye thing will stop in a few days when she grows some more. Keep us posted on how she does.
