I took my daughter to CT yesterday. She is 2 1/2

months old her ears are assymetrical. she has plagio

on the right side of her head and has tort on her

right side. The Therpaist also told us that her head

was as wide as it was long, which she said was odd for

the type of flattening she has. she was born with a

perfect round head but becuase she was cramped in

utero, and was a larger baby( born 3 1/2 weeks early

and weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long) she has

tort. The tort has caused her ears to misalign and in

turn caused a flattening. The therapist told us she

had a moderate case of plagio.

my question is how do i repo her. i have tried just

about everything but somehow she manages to end up on

her flat spot. she is very independent and will only

be held for short periods of time. she enjoys tummy

time, but if she is not on the buldge on the other

side of her head will the plagio correct itself. I

also try having her lay on her side and she won't stay

there.

sorry for such a long message but i've been watching

the board and ya'll have wonderful suggestions and are

a wonderful support. we go back in 3 weeks to check

her progress.
