Re: QUESTIONS: Chances of cancer growth while hypo?

Hi Rodrigo :)

ThyCa is a very slowly developing cancer (at least the papillary variety),

so I don't really think you have anything to worry about :)

13-16 days after your RAI, I imagine you're probably feeling the hypo worse

than you were before it. I think the general consensus is that it takes

about 6 weeks after RAI to get your levels regulated and start feeling human

again :)

Just my two cents :)

Age 21

Lump found 10/01

FNA 2/15/02 dx Pap Car.

TT 3/18/02 2cm tumor, 5 lymph nodes infected

RAI 6/6/02 150 mci

Currently on .2 of Levoxyl

<<so, the question is, being aware of the fact that i might be

hypo since feb 19th... could it have been dangerous for my health? I mean,

TSH stmiulating cancerous thyroid tissue to grow?? (i think it is that way

but I just wanted to ask you).

And, the second question is, are 13 or 16 days enough to make considerable

cancer growth?>>
