Hi Everyone,

Well, I thought I was starting to do pretty good, but listen to

this. Friday at work my department took a girl out to lunch at this

nice Chinese restaurant. I was not sure I was going to go but was

talked into it Friday morning. Not only did it end up costing me

$16.00 for my share of the lunch (there was about 9 of us and we

ordered a couple appetizers along with a few of the entrees and we

all could have alittle of each). The food was great but I just felt

stuffed from eating when we finished! There was something about this

Chinese food that seemed to " stick " to me unlike others I have tried

recently. Well, then to top that off, I was so glad it was the

weekend! I had been waiting for the weekend to come. Just needed

some time to think through some personal issues and relax from my

usual hectic week schedule.

So, on my way home I stopped at the grocery store to buy at least a

bottle of wine. I was going to treat myself to perhaps a glass if I

felt like it later that evening. Well, I was browsing around and

guess what? I saw my favorite white sausage (bockwurst) on sale at a

incredible price! I thought.. Oh.. better not.. but the price was

unreal.. usually pay about $4.29 for a package of 4 and they had it

on sale for $2.99/pk of 4. I even got 2 packages. One is in my

freezer right now. Well, as much as I love these sausages oh boy do

I always feel like I put a few lbs on from eating them. Sure

enough.. I had one for dinner that night and Saturday afternoon for

lunch. Even though I went to the gym today, I have put 5 lbs. on in

the last few days!

I was starting to feel pretty good before the Chinese lunch on

Friday. Oh well, guess I better chalk this up as going backward but

I am going to start again. I was starting to feel too good. I feel

alittle miserable right now. This extra 5 lbs. feels horrible!

Thanks for listening.

I'll get back to reading to see how everyone else has and is doing.

Bye,

Dianne
