Where should I put it, to keep this > from happening? > Hi , My pedometer had a little " test " that you did the first time to measure your stride and then you counted out 100 steps and looked and if it said more than 100, you clicked it toward the - and if it read less, you clicked it toward the +. Mine is an Omron, I got at Eckerds and its the one with I think they call it " sensitivity control " (?). See if yours has a little kind of button down at the bottom with the + or -. Good luck.
