I can't tell who it was of course since I participate in not posting

drug sources on the groups.

Anyway I ordered my meds Nov 11. About Dec 1st I get a note from

Customs that the FDA has halted the order. They always hold for 3

weeks to give you a chance to prove the drugs should come to you, then

it's shipped back to the sender. Of course it takes about 2 weeks to

get back to where it came from. I received word on Jan 6th that the

shipment arrived back to the shipper that day and would be sent out

that day.

Well, it arrived today and oh what relief it was when it arrived.

Luckily I had enough meds for one to last until May and the other

until July.

Anyway, the moral of this story is

1) don't wait until you are almost out of your med(s) to reorder. I

recommend re-ordering no closer than 6 months before you will run out.

In my case when I reordered last Nov, I had 6 months of Medrol and 8

months of Florinef left.

2) Try to build up a huge reserve of your meds. I have 2 years worth

of Thyroid-S and 7 months worth of Armour. Why build up such a

miserly amount you say? What if your source(s) dried up? How long

would it take to find another or wait until a new source popped up?

My goal is always 3 years worth of stock of each med in reserve.

3) If your meds are held by customs and sent back to the shipper, as

you can see from my experiance that eats up a lot of time. Send scans

of the customs letter to the shipper and then I recommend asking the

drug shipper to refund your money and then reorder so you don't use up

the 2 months the credit card company gives you to contest a charge.

You can call your credit card in a few days to see if the company

refunded your money or not and if they did, reorder again.
