Guest guest
hi angie... i think the reason why doctors want women to wait 2 years ideally until after surgery is so that patients have a chance to get to goal and to fully heal. i am not making judgements on your preference not to use birth control and i would be the last person to lecture on timing as i was 6 1/2 months out, but especially if you are prone to serious vomiting so early out that can increase your risk for complications in a new stoma so it is not ideal. there have been members on here who have had healthy pregnancies with severe emesis early out its just not the best thing to choose to do if you can help it, however, it is more then possible to carry a baby healthy to term. why dont you see if you are indeed pregnant and then go from there. early medical care is important. there have been a lot of discussions lately on here, on early u/s which is not sometimes the best thing to press for unless you are having complications as a lot of people including myself, pressed for an early u/s only for the embryo not to show, if it is too early and that cause unnecessary panic and worry. anyways best of luck to you on what happens and i hope you get the outcome you want.
