Guest guest
Dear , Some people in this group get pregnant by accident before their first-year gastric bypass anniversary. From what I have read, they all seem to deliver healthy babies. Some lose weight throughout their pregnancies. Some do not lose weight throughout their pregnancies. We are advised not to get pregnant before our first year of surgery. They say that the rapid weight loss can hurt the fetus. However, I have not read any postings like that here. Most people are doing well that got pregnant too soon. I waited until my one-year anniversary to try to conceive. My surgeon wanted me to wait longer, but I begged him so he said, " okay. " It took us six or seven months to conceive so I am glad I did not wait any longer. Good luck. Shoshannah
