Guest guest
Dear Friends, My email address has changed: gunzel@... When in doubt, the one that always works and is easier to remember is: jill@... Also, I've just changed servers. So, my website, with all the pages on RAI preparation tips, what to take with you when you go for RAI, how to survive in school while dealing with thyca, and those gruesome pictures of someone's thyroid, is now at: http://rlsrebel.com (This might be the bookmark you have for it, already.) If you previously bookmarked it as http://www.c2i2.com/~gunzel you won't find it there, in a few weeks. It will actually be at http://members.cox.net/gunzel But the best way to remember it, is to always go to http://rlsrebel.com THIS is the address that will never change. It just redirects you to wherever " I'm living in cyberspace " at the time. There are also links on my website, to pages about RLS (restless legs syndrome), stroke survival and travelling handicapped, buying rollators (fancy name for a new fangled walker), clogging, and my membership in the Red Hat Society. Just for fun and a giggle, be sure to look at the Red Hat Society link. It's a blast!!!!!! By the way, even though this sounds like advertising, it's not...and it's not against the email list rules. I'm not selling a thing...just sharing what I've learned. Okay, the truth is, I'm selling my clogging lessons on that site. So, if you want to show up here, on Thursdays, I'll teach you to clog. AND, while I'm here....the news is, my daughter (24yrs old), just had her first clean scan, last November!!!! Two surgeries, two RAI's, and she's CLEAN!!!!! That last surgery, where they radiated her first, and then used the probe to find the exact spot of the involved gland BEFORE cutting to remove it, was a real success!!! I'm still convinced that if they'd removed the whole string of glands, only relying on the body scan and not knowing exactly where the cancer was, they would have missed the guilty gland (which was hiding behind a muscle and probably would have gotten left there). Anyhow....she graduated, she's happily married (as of last summer), and she's working and going to grad school...and talking about making me a grandma. YES!!! How's THAT for thyca survival? AND, the great news is, I got myself a terrific bread making machine, as a memory of all that crap. Oh, yea...and a healthy daughter. Gosh!! Silly me. Best wishes to all, Jill http://rlsrebel.com Arizona
