Guest guest
>>Congratulations on getting the parental rights for Buster. I can see how much this means to you.<< Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. It does mean a lot. I was there when Buster was born and had the umbilical cord around his neck and horrible apgars. He's lived in my home for all but 6 months of his life and those were absolutely the worst six months possible to have taken him. We were just figuring out his autism and boom he was gone. Giving him to the police when CPS would not do anything was the hardest thing we've had to do in our life. Having him back has definitely changed him for the best. When we saw him before, he was withdrawn and lethargic, now he's back to vibrant and totally scary to watch. Since he has no language skills at all, it is amazing to me that CPS could even say that he was fine. Sure, if you want to leave him in a shell all by himself, I guess that's fine, but that's not how he was and is again. I think I'd rather have the bold jumpy bouncy get-on-top of the refrigerator boy than the one that's silent, quiet, reserved and didn't play at all, but then they wouldn't listen to us about him anyway. So, you betcha it means a lot to me, but it means a lot to Buster, too. debbi

Guest guest
Debbi, I'm terribly behind in my e-mails as usual, but I just wanted to say how glad I am that you're gaining some control of the situation. I hope things go smoothly now. Buster is lucky to have you in his corner. Tuna >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> So, today finally frustrated with the whole thing, I drive 40 miles to where my daughter is living and her excuse for not showing up... she fell asleep. So I demand she come with me and sign a power of attorney and I guess I caught her in the right frame of mind, cuz now I have parental powers over Buster. YES!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ===== You can learn many things from children.
