Guest guest
I was reading in the week 1 booklet for the new Flexpoints program this weekend and came across a very good topic. In the booklet, they have sort of a Frequently Asked Questions section towards the back. The question was similar to " My friend and I joined at the same time, but she is losing more weight than I am. " Besides commenting that everyone loses weight at a different rate, the suggestion to look at your journal to see how many zero-point items you were eating was brought up. It is suggested to eat no more than FIVE zero-point foods a day. If you eat more than that, then you should add up the calories and count the points. So that could mean that you could have 2 servings of raw baby carrots, a 1/2 cup of green beans, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and 6 ounces of V-8. After your five servings, keep a running tally and figure the points off the total of everything else that has " zero " points for the day. Does that make sense? Two pounds of baby carrots aren't calorie-free... (and you could end up looking like an Oompa Loompa)! I'm glad they clarified that because I think we had discussed that earlier this year.
