Guest guest
Hi Amy, Wow, look at those blue eyes! My Hannah is almost three and she still can't make that fish face, but she tries so hard, lol. Great job on the helmet. Guest guest
Thanks , , and Carol for the compliments! You are all so sweet. No, the Bronco logo on the side of the helmet is not a sticker, I painted it on there (made a stencil out of sticky paper). Logan is doing terrific so far. He's been wearing the band 23 hrs a day since Wednesday morning and has been taking naps and sleeping through the night every night since. We go back for adjustment this Wed. in OKC. No red marks on his head, but a little heat rash on the back of his neck. I just wanted to add a note to other " new helmet " moms and dads out there - don't stress about taking your baby out in public. My hubby and I went to the mall today, and I know we got some stares. But mostly, everyone just smiled at him; one lady just remarked how cute he was! The funniest thing was that a little kid who was walking past with his mom said, " Look Mom, a FOOTBALL baby! " . HAHAHA! It wasn't the least bit traumatic for any of us. Keep your chins up! Amy > > Logan (7.5 mos) got his helmet this past Tuesday. Guest guest
Hi Amy, It sounds as if Logan's doing so well in his band so far!! That's fantastic. It's been a while since I've read Bill Barringer's name on the board, but I just wanted to let you know that I remember several plagio parents being very complimentary of him... He uses the Starband, doesn't he? I'm not surprised to hear that you had an equally good impression! Please keep us posted on how Logan's adjustment appts. go.
