Guest guest
Hi Debbie- My son Jake did have this HCG testing. His testosterone did respond to the hormone. However, one testicle was so small (crypto---the smallest) that they did think they may have to remove it when they brought it down. I basically signed waivers prior to the surgery acknowledging that they may remove the testicle if it looked abnormal. Thankfully they felt it looked ok, so they brought them both down. They did find a small mass, but again thankfully it turned out to be a cyst. Being in pathology, I have seen testicles which have become malignant, so I preferred to have anything that looked questionable taken out, rather than risk that. I figured there must be some sort of plastic surgery 'psuedo-testicle' that could be placed later, if desired. Good Luck Nona Mom to Jake ?CHARGE and Nick 7 --------------------------------- Yahoo!
