Guest guest
Hello- I am hoping you can help me brainstorm some ideas for my son . He is going to become a Bar Mitzvah and is looking for some way to perform a charitable act (a mitzvah in hebrew). He realizes how fortunate he has been in and would like to give something back. He has considered donating a portion of his monetary gifts to AGbell or AVI, but he would like to make it more personal. Ideally, I think he would like to " sponsor " a child and help him or her in getting a hearing aid or AV therapy. He is also willing and able to put in some time, but we are at a loss as to where to do that. There are no programs for HOH children in our area that don't meet during school hours. Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Debbie
