Guest guest
Good afternoon! The doc says: The patient has been having problems with vascular access for some time and now has a right femoral PVAC in place for dialysis. I cannot document " PVAC. " Does anyone know what this is, or what I might really be hearing? Thank you as always! Meg
Guest guest
This is just a guess - CVHC - central venous hemodialysis catheter. I know a femoral catheter is used when there is no other means of venous access, and I found some hits for the central venous catheter and central venous hemodialysis catheter on Google.
