Guest guest
You'll get this sorted out Jane.... if they can... while they have you all hooked up... see if they spot any lymph node damage.. they might not be able to... but I'd be curious to hear what they say.... Why? Well.. the RAI can potentially damage lymph nodes... that's what I'm dealing with now.... I've got something messed up in my upper chest and I'm dealing with lymphedema now.... It can take up to 20 years for that damage to show up with visible symptoms... so I'm curious if they can see anything now, in you.... My cancer got in veins in the thyroid and the next place it would go is my lymphs. So, we're looking at lymphs. Which I really don't understand, cuz it seems the RAI-radiation kill them buggers-would've killed anything, or the whole body scan picked it up. I hear lymph growths can be resistant to RAI and need to be surgically removed first. I don't like to think of that. Dang, the light is just starting to get in cracks in my brain, I don't want to be set back by another surgery. Poo. jane
