Dear Doctors,

We the following have been treated with natural thyroid hormones and would like to offer our extended invitation for Ann to be offered the same ability. Below you will find our signatures along with hormone dosages.

Several of us have had problems converting synthetic hormones and we have the medical tests to show our hormone levels improved taking natural hormone.

You have a responsibility to give her the care she deserves and desperately needs! Many of us currently take natural thyroid hormones and have found they work with our body's natural chemistry more than synthetic hormones did. Several of our support group members also feel the same way. Please consider that because natural thyroid hormones offer a wider balance of hormone levels than synthetic thyroid hormones that they may be what is best for her condition.

PETITIONING FOR MY RIGHT TO TAKE NATURAL HORMONES........

Hello All,Some of you may know me, some of you may not...but, myname is Ann and I live in Spain. Many of youhave been more helpful, supportive and informativeabout my Hashimoto Disease than the army of doctorsand endocrinologists I have sat in front of, justhoping to get a little help and answers. I have beentaking synthetic hormones, but they give me severeheart palpitations. My doctor lowered my medication,hence, I am undermedicated, still suffering, and myblood tests are coming back with poor numbers. Ifired her. There is virtually no information here orit is VERY outdated about my condition. I ambeginning to take Thyroid-S tommorow, which is what Icould get sent here. I have felt very disconnectedand alone until I found this group and I thank you allfor that, but I am going to ask a favor. Next week, I have yet another doctor's appointment inwhich I will have to make yet another campaign just toget minimal health care...I could've gotten angry overthe thought of going through it again, but I had anidea instead...I thought, "What if I wasn't standingthere alone?"...if I just had the power of your voicesin the room showing this doctor that the treatment ofHashimoto with natural horomones is not obsolete, thatis beneficious to a large group, that it could make mylife better and improve my health tremendously, maybeI could get him to listen or at least to have an openmind. The thought of having another doctor stare atme with the "look"...UUUUGGGGH!!!! You know the"look", like you have horns growing out of your head.It's too much to bear and I've got to take moreaction. And that's where you all come in....I amgraciously asking that each one of you send me anemail, stating in one or two sentences, or even aparagraph if you like, why you choose to take naturalhormones and how they have improved your health andlife. I need backup and your strong voices...and astack of emails with reasons "why" from real patientscould be powerful and just might demonstrate thepoint. I see how potent your voices are within thegroup, I am asking that you push it outside the groupfor one moment.I know it's alot to ask, but if I can convince thisone doctor to treat me, I will literally be the onlyperson in Spain using this type of treatment. I havespent weeks and months researching and I just knowit's the right treatment for me and I don't want tohave to get on a plane to get medical care. Iconsider myself lucky compared to other women herethat suffer greatly who don't speak english and can'taccess the same sources that I can...maybe I can makeone little change for some of us here.
