Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear that the DR got back to you and had a game plan other than to discontinue the meds right away. Hope it works for you! The heat finally broke here too!!! It is beautiful today. High in the mid 70's, NO humidity and sunny. I am going to take Matt and Ross for a nice long walk (bike ride for Ross) to celebrate and we are going back to the fair tomorrow so we'll get lots of walking in there too (and i'm only having 1 cream puff - and sharing it w/ Ross, I swear!!) Have a great weekend and I hope you feel better before you pick up Sierra! Kendall > Hello*!!!!! okay the DR called me back and said to start taking the > Paxil in the morning (with breakfast). Love & hugs, Jo-Ann DR Called back*!!!!!! Hello*!!!!! okay the DR called me back and said to start taking the Paxil in the morning (with breakfast). He said that my body will get used to the pills after a little bit more time...and the upset tummy will go away. He also wants me to cut my pills in half. I am on 20 mg (???) now and he wants me to try out 10.....and then in a week if I am doing okay on that 10 go back up to the 20......he said some people need to gradually increase the dose. BUT he said he is very glad I am taking them and very glad I did call....I told him I was trying to wait until Monday, but just had to call today. I told him about the racing heartbeat and he said to monitor that...he said to call back monday if that is stil going on...So I called and I think we have a schedule figured out*!!!!!! Guest guest
, Just an FYI-I was on Zoloft (for depression) for a year before we decided to ttc, and I ended up taking 3/4 of the normal dose. My dr wanted me to take 2 pills, but that kept me up most of the night. I figured out that when I took less, and in the morning, that it worked like a charm. Sounds like your Dr thinks like mine!!! Guest guest
, When I took Paxil, I only took 10 mg too. They said I could move up to 20 after a week at 10, but I was fine at that. Hopefully you will be too! If the side effects are really bothersome after a few weeks, don't forget there are a ton of different meds out there. (I think Wellbutrin is a great one too--it's the one that makes you want to quit smoking--it saved me after 10 years of addiction!!!) Good Luck!
