Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering if I could post my lab results and get your opinions. I don't understand some things and was hoping someone could shed some light on these. I just started synthroid 75 pill for Hashi's. These are my lab results which prompted him to prescribe the synthroid: TSH 4.640 (labs normal range .6 - 4.8) T4 4.5 (labs normal range 4.6 - 12.0) T-uptake 29.8 (labs normal range 22.0 - 35.0) T7 1.3 (labs normal range 1.2 - 4.2) Free T3 3.0 (labs normal range 1.5 -4.1) (and a bunch of metabolic tests which mostly were normal except:) Urea Nitrogen 6 (normal range 8 -22) Thyroid antibodies: Anti-TPO AB 411.0 (labs normal range 0.0- 35.0) Anti-TG AB 649.0 (labs normal range 0.0 -40.0) The question I have are: What is the T-uptake? What is the urea nitrogen? What is Anti- TPO AB stand for (I know these are the antibodies from Hashi's but not sure what exactly they mean) Same question for Anti- TG AB Does 75 synthroid seem right for these results? Thanks in advance! ~
