I wouldn't want to start a KIT group either.. but I would like to be able to meet with others once a month or every other month for lunch. That's what I think you guys should do. I'm also on a fixed income with EVERY thing else going up. I joined AARP last year for 10.00 per year. Then it jump to 12.50 for this year. I also joined there AARP car insurance... well, that also jumped up this year and nothing goes down except my income. If the clinic was't so darn far away I'd get me a bicycle to ride just to cut costs. lol I'm looking now for car insurance that isn't so darn high.... of course, I have to have full coverage because mine is a lease. Just got a letter from them saying my lease is up in 6 months.. and to bring the truck back in so they can go over what my options are... Ha! This time I have to buy one and not lease it.
