I have the hot fry pan in which to fry the spam. lol.

If you want help on how to keep them out, I'll enlist my

hubby. He does that kind of thing for the office he works in, he's

the computer guy. I understand you are computer savvy, but if you

want help, I volunteer him lol !!!

We can keep them out my moderating posts for newbies..... but I don't like doing that for a support group..... Having been a person that got online one night cuz I thought I was dying or something and having the folks answering my posts immediately... that's what got me through that night.... I know how scary it can be to wait for help... and making someone wait until I can check them out and get them off moderation.. that's a long time to wait, even an hour is a long time to wait when you are reaching your hand out.....

Once someone spams us... their post is deleted, they are kicked out of the group, their IDs and addresses are banned and they get put on a 'black list'. Repeat offenders, when they come in under a modified email address, or can be traced to a specific company... I turn them in to Yahoo, three strikes there and they get their accounts deleted, and if I'm in a testy mood, I'll turn them into their ISP, three strikes with an ISP for spamming and they cancel your account, most without refund.... and if I'm REALLY crabby, I write the company they are spamming for and turn the company in to Yahoo... Some of you may remember, about a year ago.... the one company wrote me back and threatened me with legal action for claiming they were responsible for spamming us....

Spams for us are pretty rare now... it's really thinned out over the years....

If your hubby has any ideas for heading them off at the pass... I'm game to learn...

Now.... I could go for some grilled spam.... on some home made bread that is toasted right along side on the same grill.... Hmmmm slice of nice ripe tomato.... some red leaf lettuce... and some Miracle Whip (one of the only two things that I still consume that have soy). Yeah... perfect breakfast sandwich!!! hehehe
