Guest guest
Wow I had vertigo 2 times in 1999. I had no clue it was relative ot my thyroid hhmm makes me wonder now why they never tested my thyroid then. I had 2 pills to take one to stop the dizziness and keep me from being off balance and it made me sick to my stomach so they gave me a pill to stop the nausea. They could have tested my thyroid then and maybe connected it. Oh boy I hate Doctors!!!! Tina Heissler wrote: From reading the past few posts I'm finding very interesting. Mymother, aunt and I all suffer from vertigo. I had it worst. And weare all always cold. I will definitely set up an appointment tomorrowwith my doctor and I will let you all know the results. I do hope sheagrees to have the tests...if nothing else to have a base line to workfrom. I never would have thought being cold or the vertigo would bethyroid. I've so much to learn! Guest guest
If the doc refuses and you still want to see what is going on... if you live in the US you have the option of ordering your own tests, paying out of pocket, through Health Check www.healthcheckusa.com The results can then be taken to a doc for evaluation... or foot stomping.... The cost is in the hundred dollar range, varying on which tests you want done. You check the site to see if there is a Lab One partner clinic in your area, then order and pay for the tests through the website. Then go to that local clinic for the blood draw. Your blood is then sent to California for analysis and the results are available on line within 48 hours and hard copies are sent in the mail within two weeks. Guest guest
What happened out of this visit? It would have been today, right? Was there ANY suggestion of autoimmune ear disease? I have wondered this for a very long time, with the permanent earringing that I have. But I know that my testing was incomplete.
