don't know what it's called, but I remember living through it!

There are so many schools of thought on this, so I'll tell you what I did

and hope you take it as that - ONE person's solution! I TOTALLY discouraged

it. At first, that meant shutting off the video and making him do something

else. (that was always noisy and emotional). As time went on and his

receptive language improved, I used his precious numbers: " Two more times,

then no touching. One more time, then no touching. Last time! Watch the

rest! " He has ALWAYS loved countdowns. :-)

Annoying as hell? That's what we call it. I guess it falls in the

stim/repetitive behavior category.

DING DING DING! That sounds like the right answer to me.

Boone does this too. Drives us all batty. He realizes it now and it doesn't

happen nearly as often.
