coumadin (blood in stools)

Take yourself to a doctor soonest!

It is probably nothing to worry about... but... A friend of mine had

the same syptoms recently and an investigation found a very small

tumour in the gut. The only reason it bled was that he was on

warfarin for af. Without that drug it might have been years before

it was discovered and that might have been too late.

It turned out that af was a potential life saver in his case!

One more " Call the Doctor! " opinion. Blood in the stool requires that. So does

stopping coumadin. That's not a call to make without the advice and consent of

your doctor.
