Guest guest
OT No-bake cookies > I have asked for and received this recipe before, but for some reason I have lost it. Can someone please give me the no-bake cookie recipe, you know the one with peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate (I believe it's actually cocoa). I will sure appreciate it. Of course, I am now leaving for the night, so I won't see the answers until tomorrow, but I'm sure y'all will come up with the recipe (or maybe several). Thanks a lot, Margaret > Margaret ~ this is the recipe that my mom used when we were kids. 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 6 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup milk Bring to a boil, cook 1 minute, remove from heat. 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 teaspoon vanilla Add peanut butter and vanilla, mix well. 3 cups oatmeal Then add oatmeal, mix well. Drop by teaspoon on wax paper. (Of course you can add other things to it with the oatmeal ~ raisins, peanuts, coconut, just about anything that you think would be good with it. My mom always added Spanish peanuts to hers.) I think I just gained 3 pounds typing out this recipe. : ) Laurilee

Guest guest
Yummy... I have a peanut butter snow ball cookies, no-bake that I make each Christmas. You roll them in your hands though so you need a bowl of soapy water and drying towel next to you. I think all hands have some heat and it can get messy. I was never one to play in mud.
