I'm so proud of my boys - they both have been studying Taekwondo, which is a Korean martial for several years now. They had their belt tests this evening - both passed and did a fabulous job! Tom is now a red belt (red is two belts under black); Sam is a blue belt with a red stripe. Tom broke boards at this test and it was awesome! The cool thing about our Taekwondo school, which is called Blue Wave Taekwondo (there are schools through VT, NH, Maine, Mass), is one of the black belt instructors is deaf - it's been great for the boys to see that they can accomplish what they set their minds to. I get to go to bed at a normal time tonight - I didn't think I'd live through the American league pennant races. Can't wait to sleep all weekend!
