Guest guest
>Pulse rate of 100 is quite possible, especially if the patient is under stress, which he would be with a broken hand. A pulse of 100 is a little high, but not at all out of the realm of possibility. Margaret My pulse is normal at 80-90, resting. When I run, I keep it around 160-170, which is somewhat lazy for me. I'm unusual, but it's normal for me and I know that so I tell the doctor (and the dentist, because they take my pulse & blood pressure when I get a filling or some other work done.) So, I can certainly see someone having a pulse rate of 100 if they have a broken hand. If I was under stress like that, 100 would be low for me!
