Also to recheck Jeff's bells palsy. We all go to the same dr. Jeff is still getting worse and he is going to try accupuncture. Anyone ever try it? Other than that he is doing fine. Yessenia is also doing well. Every nurse tells me she is so alert and responsive! Very advanced for her age in this area. And she never stops moving! lol She is 14 lbs even. (Although I had just fed her a jar of squash and a bowl of cereal and brestfed her. wanted all the extra weight and for her to be content. lol) and 27.5 inches long. I'm sorry to hear he's getting worse. How miserable! I have used acupuncture for my dog. Does that count? LOL Actually it worked very well for her, and I wish we could afford to continue it. But silly things like groceries keep getting int he way. ;P We tried to use it for Mikey's insomnia but he wouldn't have it. > Yessenia is also doing well. That's a big improvement! I don't remember how much she weighed at birth but she must be getting close to doubling it? had more than tripled his birth weight at 6 months and Gabe was nearly there, but you know that story, they are big boys. Heck, some of 's shirts are 7s!! He's THREE for pete's sake!!! Gabe seems so tiny in comparison but really he is I think 75th% so I know he is not really such a little guy. There was a little girl at the waiting room of OT yesterday who had just turned 2 and she was SO TINY...and absolutely adorable! Maybe I will have a petite little girl next. As long as she's a HAPPY petite little girl who does not CRY all the time!!! ~~~~~~~happy healthy baby vibes to me! ~~~~~~~~~~ -Sara. Adeline was also to the doctor yesterday. I wanted to jump for joy. She gained a pound 11lb 6oz at 13 week and 22 inches long. Yea Adeline, I though she was never going to gain. I use acupuncture to control my winter allergy. I am very allergic to a tree that pollinates down here in Texas in the winter time. It makes me so sick that I want to cut my head off. Acupuncture has worked miraculously for me on that one. I had considered using it for years but never did until last year. This is the second winter it's working so well for me. I'm so relieved! My husband is at the acupuncturist today as a matter of fact for treatment for a abdominal muscle tear that's been nagging him for months. Today is his second treatment and if it doesn't work for him within a month or two he is going to try steroid treatment and then probably surgery. He is desperate because it interferes with his ability to play Ultimate, and you know we can't have that. ;-) I've heard that Acupuncture is especially effective on things like Bells Palsy. I hope that turns out to be true for Jeff. The needles are so tiny that you can barely feel them and after they are in you don't feel them at all. If the needle gets too close to a nerve, sometimes you can feel it prick you on entering, but it's more like the sting of a mosquito bite then what you might imagine for a needle poke. Glad to hear your little stinker Yessenia is doing well! Take care,~ Karin p.s. let me know how it works (or doesn't work) for Jeff, I'm curious to hear the results. Guest guest
I used acupuncture for relief of pain of fibromyalgia. It really did help my back pain but not on anything else. I also couldn't afford to keep going. Hope that helps. from Kansas, Zach, 2, possible AS, Alyx, 12, mood disorders. > > still getting worse and he is going to try accupuncture. Guest guest
Yes! But it turns out she probably weighs a little less than that as their scale is off by 4-5 oz. Oh well. Adeline is starting to fill out too. She must look more plump than Yessenia because Yessenia is so LONG! lol They are getting so big. Time just flies by.
