Guest guest
She says the sentence like this: A P O M right middle, etc... not spelling it, just saying the letters. Like my radiology docs do: A P view equals AP view. Make more sense? s/l APOM? Hi, Doc says: s/l****APOM**** mild right rotation of the second cervical spinous process. Any ideas? TIA! S. Guest guest
This is a great group. New info and tips come so fast I can hardly keep up with it. I saw the AP open mouth view. I always thought that this was a standard view as part of what we were taught was either a 5-view or 7-view series of the neck, used whenever there was suspected trauma. The APOM is the only way to get a clear AP view of the dens to check it for fracture. I thought the radiologists used it too. Ken s/l APOM?
