Guest guest
I just wanted to add my 2 cents on the discussion of breast pumps. I have no personal experience in the use of them yet but I am a breastfeeding educator for the health department I work for. I would suggest or recommend highly that you be sure that the pump you purchase whether ebay or not has never been used before or reconditioned. The reason is that there is a risk of mothers milk coming into contact with these pumps and contamination. Please be very careful in selecting a pump. As far as which pump to select we have had the Medela Pump in Style that we give to breastfeeding moms after lactation is established and the moms love it. The contract this year is for the Purely Yours by Ameda and I issued one the other day to one of my breastfeeding moms and she really likes it because she is able to add batteries to it and not be close to an electrical outlet everytime or in the car with an adapter. Just a little information.
