hi,

i had rai a little over 3 months ago. i've been on synthroid for going

on 1 month, had tsh and ft4 done yesyerday but won't see my endo until

monday. i went from hyper down to a normal range slowly but then

quickly dropped after that.

before rai my tsh was 0.011 and ft4 1.96, when i started on synthroid

my tsh was 85.05 a far cry from 0.011 and ft4 .50............i have

been terribly fatigued and hope things will level out soon. this will

my first visit since starting synthroid.

thanks guys.

well, i saw my endo today. he started me on synthroid 100 3 weeks to the

day my blood was tested, that was 4 days ago, so within just 3 week my

TSH has gone from 85.05 to .0.680 ( 0.500 --- 5.700) and my ft4 is now

1.77 from .50 ( .90----1.90) Although both are in the " normal " range

they are looking like they are headed in the hyper range as like i said

only 3 weeks after being very hypo. He wants to check it again in 8

weeks. I am thinking if synthroid 100 did this in 3 weeks what will it

be like in 8 weeks? I a starting to feel a little irritable and more

anxious but not like i did before RAI. I am afraid that since it's in

the normal range nowin such a short period of time that it will be too

much when i go back.

I clarified today the actual cause of my hyperthyroid and for sure it is

Grave's disease. He said the antibodies will still be in my syatem and

that I stll have Grave's but it just can't affect my thyroid now and in

time the antibody count could lower.

I almost think that a 50 or 75 on the synthroid may have been better but

maybe you get so much in your system and that is what you need to keep

it there. I don't know what to do, does anyone have any suggestions?
