Guest guest Posted July 13, 2004 Report Share Posted July 13, 2004 I had a couple questions about this. Tessa is 21 mo and has an Oticon Gaia BTE hearing aid on her left ear. Her right ear's hearing is significantly worse (90dB-120dB HL) and we have been advised to think about getting her a Frequency Compression HA. I'm not sure how this works. We were told that it changes some of the higher pitched sounds so that they sound like lower pitches. I'm afraid this will confuse her. Also, does anyone have a FC HA? If so, what brand?
