Guest guest
I wote this poem recentl and just wanted to share it. My thyroid gland was removed They said that I had cancer I had questions in my mind To which there were no answers I was angry and upset With the diagnosis they were giving But I listened to what they said And I went on living Treatment followed surgery I was put in isolation I was a risk to others Because of radiation Now more than a year has pased The cancer's gone away Now I smile and thank God For each and every day Even feeling the way I did At the diagnosis they were giving I did my best to get on withthings And I never did stop living.
