Guest guest
I have great hopes with the school system. Hopefully, they will do something for him. If nothing gets done in this month by one of these agencies, who are supposedly required by law to report neglect, then I don't have a clue what to do. It is neglect, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I appreciate everyones comments and I'm not looking for anything more than a place to vent about this. I suppose I could call CPS again, but then I stand the chance of her waltzing up here and taking him once more. How much stress can he take? Grr... debbi -----Original Message----- From: Moretuna Debbi, What an awful situation to be in. I admire you for what you're trying to do for Buster. Guest guest
Sigh. Is there some way that you can get a lawyer (I know, lots of money) and prove that she is an unfit mother and get custody of him? I mean, if she won't do anything where you can get the dx and get the services that he needs she is being neglectful. Why can't things be easy once in a while? RE: GROWL--VENT >>Could you have a social worker assigned to him so that way they could make decisions instead of her?<< This is why we went to court and CPS wanted no part of it. I'm so effing hot that I want to call the stupid people up and say, " See, you stupid A$$es, I told you so. " >>Damn... should we find her and kick her in the A* & ?<< Don't tempt me! debbi

Guest guest
Do you know how to get a hold of her? I wonder if you could play dirty, since you have not heard from her, and file charges against her for abandonment. A friend of mine left her daughter with her mom and told her that she would be back and went to Atlanta to stay with family for a day to get herself together (bad divorce) and her mom, not knowing where she went (and her family is a little weird anyway) filed some sort of charges that she abandoned her daughter and her ex husband ended up with custody of her daughter (which is NOT a good thing for many reasons). Guest guest
> Abandonment in Arizona is 6 months of NO contact at all. >>WHAT??? Christ, don't they know what could happen to a kid in six months? How incredibly STUPID!<< Arizona is a parent's rights state. I've been told that heroin addicts get 6 or 7 chances with kids. Incredibly stupid? You betcha. Three calls went to CPS in the 6 months he was gone from our home. None of them were made by us, didn't make a whit of difference. I don't understand, but I contine to hear echoing in my mind, " Well, there was plenty of food in the house. " I've always disliked CPS. debbi

Guest guest
ACK! jacquie H GROWL--VENT Okay! I'm really hot! We went to take Buster to intake for his pdoc and his mother had to be there. She talked to the doc's office Friday and told us, she'd be there with required paperwork. She did not ask for a ride and said she knew exactly where it was. So, did she show up?? NO!!!!!!!!! We can't do anything without her. I'm absolutely livid. Has she called? No. Has her cell phone been disconnected so I can't call her? Yes. And on top of that Buster is now having stomache cramps and wakes up whimpering. This has not been a good day. debbi --- Enter to win 6 free Disney DVD's http://tinyurl.com/3ztv
