Pain in the foot?

Hi,

Veeti has been using the DBB for two weeks now 23 hours a day, and

his feet look good and the skin looks absolutely normal. However,

when I try to stretch the foot, he cries every time as it would

really hurt. Could it be that the manipulation has been painful and

now the foot is hurting because of that? Veeti was screaming every

time a new cast was applied, but we were told it was because he had

to stay still and he just didn't like the foot to be touched. He was

screaming more and more each time, and that was (supposed to be)

because the foot was sensivite after being in a cast.

Veeti stands up with and without the DBB, but when it is not on, he

keeps his clubfoot up so that it won't touch the floor. I am very

worried about this.

Sanna,

I don't know about the pain (?) during the stretches of the foot, but

I do know that it took several weeks before we were able to convince

Dylan to put his feet onto the floor after his casts came off. He

was just really sensitive to different textures on his feet. Hope

this helps some.
