Guest guest
, please keep in mind that OsCal with Vit. D is what my doctor prescribed for me to take because of the vit. D. I believe OsCal may also come without the vit. D. You may not need the vit. D. as I did. Also, the OsCal 500 was the easiest for me to divide up the 1500mg I needed to take each day. Of course, when it comes time to go hypo, I will need to change to a calcium supplement that will not contain oyster shells. I will most likely be coming to the list to give me clues for a replacement for that period of time or my Endo can recommend something to replace the OsCal. My Synthroid dose first thing in the a.m. is the key to exactly when I take the meds the rest of the day. I adjust everything to the time that first pill is taken each day. I have to take all these meds every day, so instead of thinking of it as a pain (which it is), I just roll with the flow.
