, please keep in mind that OsCal with Vit. D is what my doctor

prescribed for me to take because of the vit. D. I believe OsCal may

also come without the vit. D. You may not need the vit. D. as I did.

Also, the OsCal 500 was the easiest for me to divide up the 1500mg I

needed to take each day.

Of course, when it comes time to go hypo, I will need to change to a

calcium supplement that will not contain oyster shells. I will most

likely be coming to the list to give me clues for a replacement for

that period of time or my Endo can recommend something to replace the

OsCal.

My Synthroid dose first thing in the a.m. is the key to exactly when

I take the meds the rest of the day. I adjust everything to the time

that first pill is taken each day. I have to take all these meds

every day, so instead of thinking of it as a pain (which it is), I

just roll with the flow.
