Guest guest
Well, the first week has thrown me a few curves that I didn't expect. The first one was I thought I was just meeting with the office manager and the HIPAA consultant to get the okay for the equipment order, etc. WRONG -- I got in about 3-1/2 hours of work, proofing and printing from the service they have been using. I went in today to meet with the software installer person and get acquainted with the digital recorder, etc. I stayed and put in about 6 hours between the installation and proofing some more of the work that had been done by the outside service. I brought home 3 tapes that the doc used prior to getting the digital recorder. I am going in tomorrow about lunchtime in order to meet face-to-face with the doc so we at least know who each other are. I think it will be okay once the bugs are worked out and everything done by the outside service is completed and printed. I left a little early in order to go to Office Depot and obtain an ergonomic keyboard. I guess that's it for now -- I am hoping to go see Chicago again sometime soon. I did buy the soundtrack the other day. This is a very, very good musical -- IMHO. Gai
Guest guest
CONGRATULATIONS! Both for the new doc and the Golden Globe...LOL!!! ) Joy ----Original Message Follows---- To: <nmtc > Subject: New PT Job Report Date: Sun, 19 Jan 2003 20:06:52 -0700 Finished up my first tape (temporary measure) of the new doc and he is a moosher and cannot get some of his mannerisms. Other than that, he is really great. Once I get to know what he is saying he will be a " do in my sleep " doc. I could not do 2 of the tapes because I did not have the correct patient list -- but, will get that tomorrow. In fact, this doc says so much the same that I already have a template set up. I need to add to it, but everything is pretty much the same. He always gives the same lab values. It will be a piece of cake once we get it together and get the residual from the old service out of the way. I am really excited. Also, <OT> anyone watching Golden Globe -- Rene Zellweiger(?) and Gere have one for Chicago. I am leaping up and down with joy -- this is a wonderful, wonderful movie. I highly recommend it. Another, move that I saw has won a couple and that was Adaptation -- which I did not understand the movie at all. I am wide awake now since Chicago has taken a couple. TIA for listening, etc. Gai
