Guest guest
Tardie, I think if you always have milk or yogurt with breakfast, continue doing so. The Synthroid dose that gets you to suppression will already account for that. The one thing I might be wary of is the calcium-fortified OJ, especially if it contains a whole lot of excess calcium. Just my 2 cents. Oh, and best wishes on your RAI tomorrow! --Carmen in nyc 10/00 TT 11/00 RAI, 100 mCi day 1 of LID, awaiting 2nd RAI > I may have missed the answer to this one, sorry if it's a repeat. I understand about not taking your levoxyl/synthroid within 5 hrs of calcium supplements & why. But does this apply to calcium rich foods, too? If I take it first thing in the am, does this mean no milk, yogurt, calcium added OJ until lunchtime.? Since I'll thankfully be starting thyroxine replacement within a few days, this pill taking schedule has been on my mind. > TIA, > Tardie > RAI tomorrow! 2-25-03 > > >
