Guest guest
I forgot to tell you in all this mess.............18 months ago I had Shingles and it must have lasted about six months. But now that I have all this stress it is hurting again. Luckily it's only the nerve along my rib. But since it's under the breast where I had the lumpectomy it is irritating. It feels like my bra is chafing my skin. I think I'll call the dr and see if I can have a five day treatment of the anti virus drug they gave me then. Dr. did take Xrays and give me a shot of cortisone last week....but now it's hurting in a new spot. Thanks for all the support. And God bless us all. Guest guest
Sounds great Betsy. When I get more efficient I might try the afghans. ;-) Problem is, I love to read too, I won't get anything else done between knitting and reading, LOL. I like to do knitting...it is relaxing to me...I knit when on the computer listening to music in a chat room or when I am waiting for appt. for dentist or dr... or if we go visit my boyfriends Dad. I made about 7 afghans last year...and an almost finished another one this year... I give them as gifts... use 10 1/2 round needles and 3 sceins of yarn super saver Red Heart...I knit one stitch and then purl one stitch...cast on 105 stitches...always start with a knit and end with a knit...knit, purl, knit, purl etc...... Then I single crochet around the edge 5 rows for a boarder of a different color that will blend in with the other colors. It makes a stretchy afghan...I like the varigated colors...
