Guest guest
The problems that I am having is that Chad's diet previously was basically all rice products and potatoe with occational vegtables, meat & egg, no fruit. On top of him being gluten and casien intolorant, he also has many many food allergies which is one reason I resorted to the rice stuff in the first place, other than he was gluten free and he craved the starch. The thing I'm finding now is that I can tell pretty quickly when he has a reaction to a food. Somehow I think all the starch he ate masked it, I don't know, but since this diet I can tell pretty quickly when he has a reaction. He's had them to almond flour, peanuts, cashews and now lentils. I've been feeding him anything legal, whether it is first level food or last level food. He has to go to school fed and every morning I fret over what I'm going to feed for breakfast and what he will eat at school because if he doesn't eat he'll have a melt down. I've thought about taking him out of school through this, but he finally as of January got the special ed program we have been fighting for, for 2 years. My scd recipie books should come today, I have ordered all of them. Anyway if anyone has anymore advise I'd appreciate it. I appreciate all the responses so far, they have helped me along. Sorry this so long winded. Thanks everyone for your help. Candace
